And the nominees for the DME Award 2011 are...

The Design Management Europe judges gathered in Tallinn, Estonia on Tuesday to judge all applications for a DME Award 2011. After highlighting the high quality of the overall entries, they selected 15 nominees.

And the nominees are:

• Franz Blaha & TM Concepts (Austria)

• Heineken International (Netherlands)

• Lékué (Spain)

• Nanimarquina (Spain)

• Supelsaksad (Estonia)

• T+Huis (Netherlands)

• Teixidors (Spain)

• Velvet Creative (Estonia)

• Vestel (Turkey)

• Viteo Outdoors (Austria)

Within the five categories:

‘Best management of design in a large company’
'Best management of design in a medium company’
‘Best management of design in a small company’
‘Best management of design in a micro company’
‘Best management of design in a public or non-profit organization’


All shortlisted organisations have been selected due to their outstanding performance in one or more Design Management aspects and will be distinguished by a special mention from the DME jury.

The winners in each category will be announced during the DME Award Ceremony, which will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, September 23rd 2011.
