Estonian Design moves to Tallinn Fish Port
On the 18th of December the Estonian Design House has officially opened its doors. Together with various design organizations and companies, the Estonian Association of Designers has now moved into a historical limestone building at the Fish Port of Tallinn.
The Design House also offers Estonian designers the opportunity to present their products in the Estonian Design Showroom. At the same time the House will be a hotspot for crossover, co-operative partnerships and the location for small exhibitions, meetings and events. The Estonian Design House currently accommodates the studios of Monika Järg, Igor Volkov, Stella Soomlais, Marko Ala and Joonas Torim, and the offices of the Association of Designers, the design festival ’Design Night’ and the innovation festival ’IF.. Tallinn’, and last but not least the trendy Oot-Oot club.
