IF… at Expo 2010 Shanghai, 19-25 July 2010
Design Portugal | Design towards a better world,

The CPD Centro Português de Design (Portuguese Design Centre), at the invitation of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Development/IAPMEI, will present an exhibition of Portuguese Design, from June 19 to July 25 at the Business Center in the Portugal Pavilion at Expo 2010.

Focused on the theme of Expo ‘Shanghai Better City, Better Life’, the exhibition ‘Design towards a Better World’ is a presentation of products and projects of authors and Portuguese companies that reveal principles of sustainability, concern for environmental impact, re-use of materials, innovation and contributions to society that can function as a ‘bridge’ between the Chinese and Portuguese cultures.

Organized in three major universes - People, Home, City - about 50 products and projects from 28 authors and 30 companies will be presented. The DME Award and IF… (Innovation Festival) will also be present at the exhibition.
